Fired up real good today! Off and running to write some letters!!!


Finally! I've been waiting for months to get back into LetterRep and start writing letters again! LetterRep is for people needing letters written on their behalf, for one reason or another. I joined LetterRep early last summer, hoping to not only exercise my writing capabilities, but to help somebody with a project that they needed done and can't or won't do themselves.

LetterRep is a website where people can purchase prewritten letters for a huge variety of occasions; employer/employee communication, scholarships, thank you letters, appeals, complaints, and a barrage of other reasons -- any reason necessary to write a letter in the first place! But a lot of people don't know how to write very well -- there English may be broken, or they just plain don't want to take the time -- and that's where LetterRep's authors come in.
When I first started writing for them I thought it would be easy -- then I discovered there was a serious problem going on in that forum -- no contact was allowed with people requesting the letters written! Well, how in the world am I supposed to write a letter for somebody when I can't get all the details I need to present a letter on their behalf to anyone? Needless to say I didn't sell too many letters! I gave it up rather quickly and went on about searching out other freelance writing gigs that at least showed some promise! I hooked up with http://www.getafreelancer.com and proceeded to seek out more writing jobs, but I soon found that finding a decent paying job on their site was like finding a needle in a haystack, or worse! If you stick with it, you will find some gems there, and some great writing assignments. But in the back of my mind it still kept bugging me that I couldn't write letters on LetterRep. I just wanted to make somebody's day. Do something for them that they just could not or would not do for themselves! And then....

This morning I opened my e-mail and there was a note from LetterRep.com announcing that they had just created a means for we authors to connect up with the requesters! So I'm back in business, doing what somebody else doesn't want to do, and taking a load off of them by writing whatever it is they need. It's worth checking out if you'd like to write, and if you don't like to write and need something written, go sign up with them, and see about getting something written for any occasion you might need.
